Claritycon is an annual educational conference that explores the internal and external factors that impact the emotional, psychological and social well-being of young people. Since its creation in 2013, the conference has grown to reach over 500 attendees annually, ranging from educators, therapists, nurses, social workers, and mental health professionals.

At CASA we have undergone several trauma informed initiatives. We are nationally trauma informed certified and our license was renewed again recently. We have a trauma informed committee and values that lean into being trauma informed for those we serve and each other. Our recent building renovation was intentional in having a trauma informed approach in all the aspects we considered. Hearing from all the leadership team at CASA into the various lens and attitudes from starting the process to where we are today allows all individuals not just practitioners to understand the part they play in trauma informed policies, processes and practices.

Objectives:
  • to see trauma informed practices as agency/organization wide
  • to understand the view of all stakeholders in the organization
  • to understand there are many ways to be trauma informed
