This session will explain the brain science of emotional regulation based on and utilizing Dr. Dan Seigel's "Flip Your Lid" analogy. The participants will have visual, audio, and tactile tools available to use in the classroom. The science is summarized, then skills for teachers are provided to create a regulated classroom throughout the day and school year for optimal academic opportunities.
